Kennel Rushcove
is a middle sized kennel which main goal is breeding of typicel and healthy
English Springer Spaniels. Dogs which will be useful and to pleasure and joy
as family pets, outdoor life companions, gun- and showdogs. |
|
It is our opinion that English
Springer Spaniels are well fit for these purposes. It is middle sized, happy
and activ with a great working ability. The working ability is important for
those who will use dogs for hunting, wild tracking,
obiliance and agility.
Since we are a typical
"home kennel", where two and four legged are living tight together
under the same roof, we do not have any ambitions of beeing a "bigger" kennel than we
already are. |

For the time beeing we have five bitches, Tina (Inu-goya Silent Wings), Julie
(Rushcoves Give Peace A Chance), Amy (Rushcoves Purple Rain), Kelly (Rushcoves Return To Fantasy)
and Cassie, (Rushcoves Midnight Special),
and to males, Gilbert (Mollyway Wild Rover) and Kane (Rushcoves Wild Wings). |

Since we all are very fond of
outdoor life activities, we are often found in the woods, in open fields and
in the highlands together with our fourlegged friends. The woods in Vestfold
where we live and our house in Värmland, Sweden, are both giving us many excellent starting points for a rich
outdoor life together with our dogs. |
|
For us, dog shows are a very
exiting field of interest where we can have our dogs visually jugded in
strong competition with other dogs. In addition to beeing an exiting
competition, dogshows are the most important meeting place for people
charing the same interests as us. We have already met many new friends in our short time in the Springer
Spaniel miljeau. |

Norsk Kennelklub's
etical guidelines for breeding will always be the foundation in our breeding
efforts. The NKK's guidelines may be studied
here
(norwegian only). |

In order to keep and maintain
the English Springer Spaniel as a healthy and race typical breed, we will
always do our best when chosing animals for breeding. After our best
ability, only sound, healthy, racetypical and dogs free for herritaging
disease will be used. |
